About Me
I have worked as an accredited physical therapist since 1981. Growing up with parents who were both doctors brought me into contact with disease and healing from a very young age.
Since 1997 I have practiced yoga in the Iyengar method, and I teach this both in Germany and in the United States.
Since 1999 I have worked closely and collaborated with Ramanand Patel, one of the world's most internationally renowned senior yoga teachers.
My knowledge is grounded in 40 years as a physical therapist, more than 25 years of personal Yoga practice, and more than 20 years of assisting teacher trainings with Ramanand Patel. I also teach Yoga workshops myself and combine my physical therapy knowledge with the complex knowledge of Yoga therapy. The combination of all of this enables me to treat a wide spectrum of psychological issues and to give individuals a solution process which enables them in a self-responsible manner to activate their own healing potential, and then bring this into action.
Alongside my activity as a Yoga teacher I am also a student of Vedanta. I began my studies in 1999 in Yoga classes with Ramanand Patel, and then through Swami Dayananda Saraswati I received well-founded teaching at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. At present I continue to participate in classes with Vijay Kapoor. All of this has taught me to view my life from a different perspective. And this view is an essential aspect of the coaching services which I offer for individuals in search of clarity.
